Several years ago, I read a book on acting that theorized each speech of a role could be described with one adverb. Act the adverb and you'd nail the speech. (No doubt characterization and learning the lines are important too, but I digress.)I was astonished to find this book available for Kindle. It's the same theory as that slim little acting handbook with the now forgotten title, but the same principle. This book contains an alphabetized list of adverbs; LOTS of them. Every few pages there's a list of activies. Instructions for playing the game are sketchy to the point of nonexistent, but I gather the activities are to be performed in the manner of the adverbs.
Now that, folks, is powerful stuff. Try it in the privacy of your own home by reading the newspaper in turn; vindictively, furtively, angrily, lovingly. See what I mean? I don't know how you'd play a game with it, though. How would it be scored?
So I'm rating this book four stars. The concept of acting the adverb is six stars, but the game, not so much.

Act the Adverb The Ebook Game 1 edition by Hello Yourself! Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This book is not an acting book, but it came up in a search and I bought it for acting purposes. It's not at all what I thought it was. Take a closer look and don't make the same mistake as me.
